Deacon Tom and his family have been members of Our Lady of Lourdes parish for over 50 years.  In 1992, he was ordained a deacon and assigned to Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  His ministry entails performing two sacramental faculties-- baptisms and marriages.  He has been involved in social outreach programs and evangelization efforts; e.g., Welcoming Masses for our new parishioners, "Come Home" programs for inactive Catholics, and a facilitator for small group biblical studies. Deacon Tom’s liturgical duties include diaconating at weekend Masses and occasionally preaching.  He is also a eucharistic minister to the home bound and patients in hospitals and nursing homes.
