What is the 13th Day? This is the date that for six months, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, asking them to pray the rosary every day for peace in the world and an end to war. 100 years later, there is still a need for world peace and an end to all wars.
We can do our part by meeting on the 13th day of each month from May to October at one of our Family churches to pray the rosary. The first Living Rosary will be on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church. The rest of the dates are as follows:
Each parish will pray a different decade with prayers led by a different person. Please use the sign up sheet posted in the back of your parish, or call or email the "point person" (see below) in your parish to lead one of the 12 prayers in a decade (1 Our Father, 10 Hail Mary's, 1 Glory Be). Please help us to make this a success! Our church and our world are in need of prayer!
