Lourdes-a-palooza faq’s
1. What is Lourdes-a-palooza? Lourdes-a-palooza is a fun event for adults which will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 6:30pm - 11:30pm in the OLL new gym.
2. Is there an admission fee? Is it only for people who purchase a reverse raffle ticket? There is no admission fee and everyone is invited! You do not have to purchase a reverse raffle ticket to attend.
3. What can I do at Lourdes-a-palooza? Lourdes-a-palooza is a great opportunity to get out in winter and socialize with other Lourdes families and friends. There will be games such as Heads and Tails, Blackjack, Big Six, Left/Right/Center, a basket raffle, a silent auction - including your chance to win artwork created by each grade, and the reverse raffle.
4. Will there be food and drinks available? There will be light snacks available, along with subs from Jersey Mikes, drinks, and adult beverages available for purchase.
5. Is the event open only to Lourdes families or may I bring friends? The more the merrier! Feel free to invite adult friends and family members.
6. Is this an event where people are assigned tables? While there are some tables available if you want to sit for a bit, this is a festival type event where you can walk around and mingle with others.
7. What is the reverse raffle? The reverse raffle is a raffle that has a $20,000 prize!! Tickets for the raffle are $100 each and only 500 tickets are sold. The drawing is held throughout the night, and there are smaller prizes given for every 25th winner, along with $250 for the first ticket pulled. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting the website at www.lourdes.org/giving or asking for a form to be sent home. The first early bird drawing is January 19th for $250. The second early bird drawing for $500 will be held on February 2nd.
8. Can I go in with other people to purchase a raffle ticket? Absolutely! Many of our tickets are purchased by a group of people. You can get a group of friends, family or even other parents to go in on a ticket with you.
9. Where do the proceeds go? All proceeds from the event go directly to OLL school. This is a large fundraiser for the school so we hope to see you there!
